Richard L. Sherman, D.O.

Southwest Carolina Treatment Center is proud to have Dr. Richard L. Sherman serving our patients.  Dr. Sherman is currently our Corporate Medical Director and is also the Corporate Medical Director for Western Carolina Treatment Center, Inc., and Center of HOPE of Myrtle Beach, LLC.  He brings with him over twelve years of experience in the substance abuse field.

Professional Profile
Dr. Sherman has worked in the field of addiction medicine since 1996.  He currently serves as Medical Director for the Phoenix Center (formally the Greenville County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse) and the Corporate Medical Director for Southwest Carolina Treatment Center, Western Carolina Treatment Center, and the Center of HOPE of Myrtle Beach. 

Dr. Sherman is currently working toward his ASAM certification in Addiction Medicine.


Education
